So today has been a fantastic day of networking and discovering things, chatting and relaxing, a good way to start a holiday for sure.
But I've left the motorbikes now and am heading into the capital for a relaxing start to two awesome weeks (hopefully) ♡
So they've decided to shut the pool at five on 'non-busy' days. Maybe in terms of business that makes sense, probably not though. In my experience the majority of people who use the pool on not so good days go straight from work and as such don't appear until after five, and how can you tell from the office whether it's a busy day or not. I wonder if perhaps they would have been better delaying opening until after lunch....hmm I guess then perhaps you need to get the lifeguards in early if you do decide to open. Oh well I guess really I'm just a little wound up I didn't get my swim today :-(
In better news my brand new rucksack ready for Switzerland cost £8.50 instead of the £40 equivalent, and in my eyes it's that.much better because of it. That and it's made my packing significantly easier :-)
Packing isn't brilliant fun but it is exciting and even though work is crazily hectic because of my 11 days out of office I have an amazing trip to look forward to ♡
I think from now on I'm going to try and post daily (at least daily when I'm in the country and as much as I can when I'm not). It becomes a reason to do things, an excuse to plan bad arrange to go out and see things, which I might just need on those weekends when it's just me here.
I'm kind of looking forward to it though, I'm going to make the most of every minute and fit in as much as I possibly can ♡
That's how long it's been at least it feels like it, my time's been filled with work (two weeks holiday starting Friday has pushed every deadline forward to oh yes, now), fun and not waiting Rhys to move away.
This weekend was incredible, meals out, bristol balloon fiesta, feeding animals at the farm (why wouldn't I do that as a child :-\) and just relaxing. A truly amazing weekend, just slightly clouded by it being Rhys' bon voyage weekend.
It will be fine I have no doubt of that but that in no way means I'm looking forward to it we have a few weeks still though :-)
